COIR BOARD REGISTRATION

 Coir Board is a statutory body established by the Government of India under a legislation enacted by the Parliament namely Coir Industry Act 1953 (45 of 1953) for the promotion and development of Coir Industry as well as export market of coir and coir products in India as a whole.

 

Documents required for Coir Board Registration

  • Complete the prescribed application form (Annexure II).
  • Provide both the original and a copy of the certificate for exporting orders from the overseas buyer.
  • Furnish a certificate from a scheduled or nationalized bank detailing the financial status of your business.
  • Include a copy of your PAN Card.
  • Submit the Code of Conduct for Exporters (Annexure III).
  • Attach a copy of the Importer-Exporter Code.
  • Prepare a demand draft payable to the Secretary of Coir Board to cover service charges for Export Registration and RCMC.
  • For partnerships, limited companies, or societies, provide the original and a copy of the registered deed demonstrating the firm's constitution or the MOA and AOA of the company, or the society's bye-laws.
  • If registering as a manufacturer exporter/Merchant-Cum Manufacturer Exporter, submit a copy of the SSIregistration certificate and the Industrial Establishment registration certificate issued by Coir Board.
  • Include a copy of your Udyog Aadhaar.
  • Provide the Certificate of Accidental Insurance under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY).
  • Submit the Receipt/Certificate of Insurance under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana.
  • These documents and certifications are necessary for your registration process and compliance with the Coir Board's requirements, ensuring smooth operations within the Coir industry
