An objection of the Coffee Board of India is to regulate the nationwide business of coffee growing, distribution and trading. The Government of India had established the Coffee Board under Coffee Act VII in 1942.
Coffee Board of India covers the entire supply chain of the coffee sector. It supports R&D, technology, quality management, and export promotion of coffee in the Indian market.
Furthermore, the Coffee board regulates the export of coffee outside the country. Issue export permits and certificate of origin for coffee.
