Handicrafts are crucial in pushing the Indian home decor sector in the growing and profitable direction. The Indian handicraft industry employs millions of craftspeople.
Unfortunately, the dwindling market for traditional handicrafts has made life tough for these people. The Government of India established the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts, a nonprofit organisation, to address this pressing need.
